Ready to Race!!

Here we go.....the restart is today, the clock starts ticking.....and they are all off to Nome!  In the next 24 hours we will see IF and WHO will be making a monster 24 hour run up and over the Alaskan Mountain Range and into Rohn....will anyone try that again?  It's all the talk on strategy right now....who will follow Martin Busers bold move last year....anyone?

Watch for the more experianced mushers sticking to their plan of banking rest on their Teams, going slow and steady....keeping their Team safe from injuries that come with running too fast.  Mitch and Aliy will be employing this type of strategy...no need for them to shake up their winning strategies from last year!  The first 3 or 4 days of the race can be confusing for Rookie Armchair Mushers....so keep your eye right here on IditaDacks...Ill be posting all sorts of racing updates and info over the next 9 days!!  Will the Norwegians dominate?   That seems to be a big question right now...and only time will tell.  So sit back and hold on, the trail is reported to be hard and fast....the Last Great Race is about to begin!!
