After pulling into Nulato...I thought Aliy would blow through like she did in 2012....but unfortunately she has to drop two dogs. As Sebastian said that is a definitely a decrease in pulling power. I'm guessing once King gets to Nulato he will declare his 8 hour mandatory rest....OR he could take it at Kaltag...these are the last 2 checkpoints that he has to choose from....after Kaltag they are off the Yukon River and running 100 miles to the Golden Sea Coast at Unalakleet....another pot of gold is waiting there for the first Team to reach this checkpoint and claim it! Then, it's on to the last leg and NOME!
