King to White Mountain First!

King pulls into White Mountain about an hour ahead of 2012 and 2013 runner up Aliy Zirkle.  The conditions were horrible, and Kings larger dogs had a better time of it on the glare ice...and the wind...the 40 mph wind was simply unyielding.  Followed about 2 hours behind Aliy was Dallas Seavey, then his father Mitch.  Buser had slowed and is still out there.  According to the tracker the Norwegian Joar Ulsom is going to arrive to a White Mt in 5th position, then 64 year old Sonny Lindner in 6th, THEN Buser in 7th.  There is then a bit of a gap and we have Burmiester in 8th with his blown ACL making his way to a well deserved 8 hour rest in White Mountain.   There is a long gap and Kelly Maixiner comes into view then Hugh Neff rounding out the top 9.  There is a battle for the 10th position in a little cluster of Reddington, Royer and Hans Gatt.  That will be interesting to watch all the way into Nome!
