What is King up to?

Jeff King has spent many hours today parked 11 miles just outside of checking in at Unalakleet. It looks as though he is taking rest at one of the cabins along this ancient portage trail, and will quite likely check in and out if UnK in one swift move. His times have been really good when he has been on the move. Wonder what he has planned for the run over the ice???
