Lets do the numbers, shall we?

OK...Mitch Seavey will break his mandatory rest first because they are syncing the 2 minute staggered start. So it will be Mitch hitting the trail at 5 am EST, followed by Aily at 5:15, Dallas at 5:21, Baker at 6 am and King at 6:05. I won't bore you with the math....but as you can see this is a real tight race. Now...the way I figure it, the lead pack will be passing through Ophir around 8 am. If the Busers are putting in their 24, they wont be able to take chase until 5 pm.... that's 9 hours later! The prize in Cripple is still up for grabs! But wait....whats this...71 year old Jim Lanier making a move outta Tacotna! Is he going for halfway gold in Cripple??? If he passes by Ophir...he is going for the gold nuggets that await the first team to Cripple!!!
