Race on the Mighty Yukon!

Its 4:45 am here...Mitch checked in and out of Galena...it took him about 20 minutes longer for him to make the 50 mile run from Ruby with a well rested Team. Could this be a sign his Team is slowing? Dallas came into Galena about 16 minutes later, and is still in Galena. Baker came in about an hour and half behind Dallas, and both Burmiester and King pulled in about a half hour behind Baker. Right now, in Galena, King (the last in the "Lead Pack"), is running about 2 hours and 45 minutes behind Mitch, and made the run the fastest, shaving an hour off of Zirkles run and about an hour and a half off of Mitch's run. Everyone had a faster time than Mitch. Remember though, Zirkle was completing a long run from outside Ruby, on no rest, where Kings Team was fresh off of an 8 hour rest. The GPS shows Mitch now stopped on the Yukon at mile marker 531. Ailey has left Galena fresh off of her 8 hour rest...and is now moving at 7 mph at mile marker 520...a mere 11 miles behind Mitch. no one, at this point, has left Galena. The race on the Yukon has begun!
