Race Tightening

The GPS shows Aliy now only 7 miles ahead of the chase pack, lead by Aaron Burmiester. She is about 17 miles away from the Bering sea coast village of Unnalakleet. At her present speed, she is still 3 hours away from reaching the checkpoint. watch for the lead teams to be filing into Unalakleet around noon today (BTW... don't forget to move your clocks forward for DST!).
