Teams Arrive in Nulato

Looks like Mackey has posted the fastest time into Nulato with just 12 dogs. He is definitely nipping at Kings heels....and Neff is certainly nipping on Mackeys heels! Gatt is not in yet, but he really put on some speed down the Yukon...it will be interesting to see his stats once he arrives. The next checkpoint is Kaltag...this will be the last checkpoint on the Yukon. The trail into Kaltag should be pretty packed down since it is a snow machine thruway of sorts. I believe it is just a 40 mile or so trek to Kaltag from Nulato...an easy one hop for any of these Teams. The long trek to the coast from Katag over the old portage trail is quite another story....should make for an interesting night!
