The Run from Ruby to Galena

This run should take between 5 and 8 hours, depending upon trail conditions and snacking time. The trail is pretty much all on the frozen Yukon River and usually pretty hard packed due to the snow machine traffic. King is traveling 9 mph according to the GPS...his dogs are healthy and happy...and so is King. I saw a few videos clips of him in Ruby...and I'll just say this...it was nice to see Jeff smile while on the Iditarod Trail...its been quite some time since I have seen him this happy! I'm still a die hard Mackey Fan...but if King wins this, it would be his 5th win. Rick Swenson would FINALLY have to share that title with someone else...which makes me REALLY happy! So go King....go Mackey and the rest of the Teams...I am so loving this race!
