As Mitch makes his way under the burled arch in Nome and thus capturing the Championship title of Iditarod 45, his son Dallas pulls into the Safety Checkpoint 22 miles from the finish and drops another dog, pulling out with 7 on the tow line.
Petit pulls in 12 minutes later with 13 dogs and heads back out for the 22 mile sprint to Nome with all 13 puling. Will Nick Petit's Team catch Dallas in the next 20 some miles?
Nick Petit needs to put on the after burners...its now or never Nick....run like the wind with those 13 dogs!!!
