Nessmuk, Have not heard that name used since I was a kid on long lake, in the 1940's and 50,s. I still have heve one of the camping books that I have carried in the woods all my life. I was a friend of Alie's for meany years and we traveled together in seperate trucks when she was a handler. Wonderful person. I spent 30 years in AK but had to leave becsue of a heart problem. So now I just watch. I was there when Aliy won the Yukon quest, First woman to do so.
