Back on the Move

Burmiester is first to leave the resting pack....I'm sure the rest soon will follow. Watch for Teams to take their 24 in either McGrath or Takotna.....these are the last hospitable checkpoints before entering the desolate areas of the interior where you would have to spend your 24 in a tent checkpoint. Plus I hear McGrath and Takotna villages put on a pretty good steak dinner for the mushers....which checkpoint will serve more steaks? Wish I didn't have to go to work again today! I much rather watch the race unfold!
