Brent Passes Seaveys on the trail to Elim!

Just a moment ago, Brent Sass passed a resting Dallas Seavey at mile 827 on the way to Elim....he past Mitch just a short time ago, and now Mitch is now in pursuit at mile 823.

Aliy didnt blow through Koyuk as I expected.  Must be her Team needed additional rest since the rest they did get was on the ice with a 30 mph wind.  Video and pictures show the dogs were able to rest, but for one reason or another she is still in Koyuk.  Wade Marrs is also in Koyuk and they are about to get some company soo with Kaiser, Ulsom and Burmeister making their way off the ice of Norton Sound right now.

The race at this point is to White Mountain, where everyone will have to take a 8 hour break.  Its 94 miles from Koyuk to White Mountain.  Typically this is broken into 2 runs...but Sass may try to do it all in one big monster run.  The Seaveys have already rested 25 miles on route to Elim...they have another 23 miles to get to Elim and then another 46 miles to White Mountain.  They will quite likely do this in one run.

As I write this Dallas is now following Brent....all 3 of them are now running together.  Sass at mile 829, Dallas at mile 828, and Mitch at mile 825.
