Brent went through Ruby, dropped a dog, and traveled another 11 miles down the Yukon and is now stopped. Dallas just got to Ruby and I suspect he will also go through since he has just come off his 24 hour rest., however he hasnt left yet, and that was a 112 mile run in from Cripple, so perhaps he will stay.
Mitch and Dallas typically stay at checkpoints for their race....whereas Brent only stayed in a checkpoint ONCE through this entire race. Aliy also perfers to camp out, and will quite likey blow through Ruby like Sass did and camp out on the river to wait out the heat of the day. Its a bit warm right now....last I looked it was in the upper teens on the river....and thats the night time tem6, with upper 20's for the heat of the day temps...yikes!
The next tight group en route to Ruby is Petit at mile 490, Marrs also at 490, Aliy at mile 488, and Mitch running at mile 485.
