Baker Into Kaltag!!

Wow....long run into Kaltag. They moved the Eagle Island Checkpoint about 9 miles south...so the trek into Kaltag was LONG to say the least. BUT, the race is really developing. Baker is IN Kaltag, with a good lead over Ramey Smyth,Schnuelle, Neff, Redington, Gatt, Linder, Jonrowe, Buser and Mackey....in that order according to the GPS. Royer is in the mix too, but according to the Stats she has not taken her 8 hour rest on the Yukon yet. If that is true (the Stats are REALLY behind, GPS is on demand and shows her progress) she will drop in the rankings as she rests. If she has already taken her 8 hr, then she is in a race for a top ten spot.
