After You.....

As of just a few moments ago, no one has ventured out on the trail towards Shageluk. Reports say the trail is deep and soft...because this part of the trail is only used for this race...it doesnt have the snow machines use to pack it down....so the hard and fast trail that the Mushers have gotten use to, is now a deep wallow of snow. The first few Teams may be able to stay on top of the crust, but with each Team that follows, the trail can turn into a sugar bowl real quick.
