Can you believe its time for another Iditarod! Team Adirondack is ready....and we just came back from another awesome "training" run in prep for all the Iditarod coverage I will be providing in just about a week!
New this year to Team Adirondack is retired SP Kennel sled dog Chemo! Chemo had an AWESOME career with SPK and he has made a wonderful addition to my little Team! I will admit, it will be odd not seeing him in the race this year....this will be Chemo's 1st time on the couch for Iditarod, as he has run it for the past 5 years on either Aliy's Red Team or Allen's Black Team. BUT, having him right here to hook up to my Team is really special, and I wouldn't want it any other way. We will be taking many a "Fun Run" as the real Iditarod is unfolding....LOL....maybe Chemo will think he is still in the race???
I need to do some pre-race research and will be posting a summary soon on my findings....LOTS has happened over the past year and I will try my best to stay above the drama of it all. Until then, enjoy this little video clip I put together of Team Adirondack....thank you Aliy and Allen at SPK for giving us the opportunity to provide Chemo his "forever home"!
